Women Veterans join to march together in South Boston’s largest parade!
The Massachusetts Women Veterans’ Network will be a contingent in this year’s South Boston St. Patrick’s Day / Evacuation Day Parade. This event draws a crowd of over 600,000- up to even a MILLION and is televised.
We will be alongside first responders the town of Plympton, MA- birthplace of our very own heroine Deborah Sampson! Not only will Deborah Sampson be recognized on their town’s department patches- but we will also have a re-enactor of her marching with us! Even an Irish Wolfhound named Ragnar and the honor of being with Gold Star families!
Transportation is available for anyone with mobility issues.
