Are you looking for professional career advice to help guide you through the job search and hiring process, but not sure who to trust or where to turn?
Join MOAA for a series of virtual lunch and learn events every Friday in February from noon to 1 p.m. Eastern. These events are perfect for those who are:
- Separating from the uniformed services and seeking initial employment in the civilian workforce.
- Graduating from college and looking to enter the professional workforce.
- Military spouses with a career on the move or making a pivot to a new industry or sector.
Each workshop will focus on a different topic to help you learn about yourself and how to market your education, knowledge, skills, and abilities … and then what to do when you land the job!
The interactive and dynamic sessions are supported with audio and video functionality. You’ll be able to ask questions and get answers from professional career consultants and financial education experts.

Job Search Process and Résumés (Friday, Feb. 10)

Networking and Interviewing (Friday, Feb. 17)

Job Offers and Personal Finance (Friday, Feb. 24)
Join Col. Brian Anderson, USAF (Ret), MOAA’s senior director for Transition Services, for guidance through the job offer and hiring process, and hear from Lila Quintiliani, ChFC®, AFC®, program director for Financial and Benefits Education/Counseling, as she discusses personal finance considerations such as savings, credit scores, student loans, and investing to help prepare you for your transition and to manage that first paycheck!
You can register for an individual workshop $10 each. Please note that the registration confirmation will go to the student’s email and not the guardian’s.
