TOOLS FOR EVERYDAY LIVING DEC 15 - Dr. Stacey Bulluck's Tools For Everyday Living: "Advocating for Women Veterans" with Melissa A. Washington

Dr. Stacey Bulluck’s Tools For Everyday Living is a show that provides tools needed in the human toolbox for thriving in life.

Tools For Everyday Living is where you will find tools for human beings, mind, soul, and body. It is where listeners receive sound advice, with evidence, that using tools from your human toolbox will make days in need of repair much easier to navigate.

Melissa A. Washington is an award-winning advocate, speaker, author, entrepreneur, CEO, publisher, and proud Navy veteran. With a diverse range of experiences and accomplishments, Melissa is driven by a passion for service and a commitment to helping women veterans thrive.

In 2015, she founded Women Veterans Alliance—a national organization that seeks to empower and positively impact the lives of women veterans. Three years later, she established the nonprofit wing of WVA, Women Veterans Giving. Both entities offer women veterans opportunities to gain valuable career experience and successfully integrate back into civilian life. In 2016 created and produced the first “Women Veterans Unconference“.  In 2021, she expanded her role in the community by co-founding Women Veterans Magazine—the first publication of its kind that speaks to the issues that affect women veterans, while providing them with local and national resources.  Her contributions have earned recognition, including the  Center for Women Veterans’ Trailblazer Award.

Join Dr. Stacey Bulluck and Melissa A. Washington on this episode of Tools For Everyday Living, “Advocating for Women Veterans,” on Friday, December 15 at 4pm PST | 7pm EST.
