100th Anniversary of Women Veteran Health Care at VA – Washington DC & Virtual

You are invited to join a live event to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Women Veteran Health Care at VA during which Secretary Denis R. McDonough will be the keynote speaker. Additional speakers include Under Secretary of Health Dr. Shareef Elnahal; Director of the Center for Women Veterans, Ms. Lourdes Tiglao, and the Acting Chief Officer, Office of Women’s Health, Dr. Sally Haskell.
If you are not able to attend in person, the event will be live-streamed. The live stream can be accessed anywhere using the 100th Anniversary Virtual Link. We encourage you to share this flyer (attached) and link with your networks and via social media.
During September 2023, VHA’s Office of Women’s Health is celebrating 100 Years of Health Care for Women Veterans. This milestone is an opportunity to highlight the deliberate improvements VA has made in health care to better serve and honor our women Veterans and ensure they have access to services designed to meet their needs. Also to raise awareness about the many health care services available to women Veterans now at VA.

Please plan to meet outside the entrance to VACO, 810 Vermont Ave. NW, Washington, D. C. at 12:10 PM. Once you R.S.V.P. I will ensure you are supplied with any further information and details about the event and how to get to VACO.
